Specifically designed for your K Series swap this traction bar will help with wheel hop you're going to have after the swap.  It also solves the problem of what to do with your rad, when you swap in your K-Series engine you will need the included rad mounts so you can move your half size rad over to the drivers side or relocate the K-series rad during your install.   Please check out our other K-Series parts at the bottom.  You can view them all at our site.

Engineered from extensive track testing and racing, ETD Racing  Traction bars are developed to improve traction and handling. ETD Racing Traction Bars bolts on to your factory tow hook mounting locations.  We don't just sell these bars we use them on our race cars.

Components are CNC machined and laser cut from 1/4" steel and finished with a durable powder coating. The radius arms are thick walled polished aluminum to ensure a strong and solid arm to prevent from fatigue and breakage. With the versatility of the radius arms, fitment is perfect every time and adjustability is only a twist away.  The Main bar is made from Chromoly and the end plates from the best high-grade steel available.

The first & second generation bars were ground breaking in their design, but with some track testing and further enhancements we have developed this new design based on your feedback.  We sold thousands of the original design, but with racer and street driver input this new product is the result of all your feedback.
 

  INCLUDED RAD BRACKETS

When you swap in your K-Series engine you will need these mounts so you can move your half size rad over to the drivers side or relocate the K-series rad during your install.
Works with EG and DC radiators plus every aftermarket radiator for Honda's.

Another innovation by ETD Racing. Nobody else has these they are ONLY made by us.

These new rad mounts give you two mounting options.  You can use the bracket as how it's setup in the top picture at the top with the angled piece.  As you can see in the picture below it gives you a slick mount system for your radiator.  You can also use it with out the angled piece (the mount lower in the top picture) and just mount you rad straight up on it.  Either way it will give you lots of options to mount your rad.














 


  8 Bolt Mounting System.  New stronger design has extra mounting tab and stronger end plates vs. other designs.  This will keep the bar mounted on even the highest HP cars or full out race cars.  The bar also has a nice black plastic cap closing up the hole in the end of the bar to keep debris out.










 
  Bar is no longer butt welded to the plate.  The mounting plate is drilled and the bar goes through it and welded on the outside.  This added a lot of extra strength and completely eliminated welds breaking.  ETD Racing traction bars are the only bars built like this.

New Shinier and stronger Powder Coating
We no longer use the dull black powder coating we have switched to this deep shiny black powder coating which is thicker and more durable than any coating we have ever used before.
 
  Mounting System, 2 bolts not 1.

- Our new mounting system consists of a bolt for the radius arm to the control arm plus a plate bolt and spacer into the second hold increasing the strength of the radius arm to the control arm.  We don't single mount them to the control arm as one bolt holding it on could break and cause you to lose control of your car.

The double bolting system as you see to the right here shares the load from the car across two bolts making it much much stronger and almost impossible to fail at this point even under heavy loads.

  Aluminum Radius Arms & Stronger Rod Ends.

We searched the market for the best radius arms but couldn't find anything that is strong enough.  We had these custom made to our specifications which are the strongest in the industry.  These are now swaged polished 7071-T7 aluminum radius arms that are .150 thick with an 1.125" OD.  7071-T7 is one of the highest grades available and is generally used only in major arospace use.

We use chromoly & Teflon lined rod ends are 5/8ths thick and are heat treated black. The strongest available for this application based on our exhaustive testing.


 

  General Mounting and setup Pics
  Here is the order that the bolts and hardware go together on the control arm.  You can see that the shorter bolt goes through the rod end, this is so you don't have to remove your sway bar to get it in.  The rear bolt is longer because it has the room and has nothing in the way.
