Nothing ruins a racing season like busting your transmission. Or worse yet, spit engine parts all over the track because of a misshift. These very expensive scenario’s can be prevented with some affordable, durable and well thought through updates to the stock shifting assembly.
We have taken a good hard look at the flawed stock shifter arm, and completely re-engineered it in billet aluminum.
Incorporated is an extremely durable delrin pivot ball with much tighter clearances than stock. We have also fitted the arm with a stiffer heat treated neutral return spring. These 3 combined parts virtually eliminate the “play” or “looseness” that is a common complaint about the stock shifter box. The result is a shifter with much improved shift accuracy and an overall “crisper feel”.
For customers on a tighter budget, we are also offering our upgraded pivot ball and upgraded return spring separately. This will retain the stock, plastic shifter arm.
